Accenture and Within Partner to Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption

Accenture has made an investment, through Accenture Ventures, in Within, an AI platform company that helps organizations map, enhance, and automate their business processes and operations. As part of the investment, Accenture and Within are partnering to help clients gain deeper insight into how work gets done, identify opportunities to enhance performance, deploy AI agents, and unlock ongoing productivity and efficiency gains.

Enterprise AI investment is accelerating, but many organizations are still struggling to generate value at scale. Accenture’s latest Pulse of Change survey of more than 3,000 C-suite leaders found that 82% are increasing investment in AI. Yet only 23% report that achieving widespread, sustained business value from the technology, down from 32% earlier this year. One reason is that the as-is processes, exceptions, and workarounds that shape day-to-day operations are rarely documented. As a result, AI often lacks the context it needs to understand the requirements.

Within’s platform captures how employees work across all applications and tracks undocumented offline interactions, including processes, handoffs, and exceptions. The platform automatically compiles that information into Within’s Work Brain, the continuously updated context layer of work that AI agents need to succeed. As information updates with the business, organizations can use it to build AI agents, identify automation opportunities, and improve workflows across finance, HR, sales, marketing, customer service, IT, supply chain, procurement, and commercial operations. The partnership will bring together Accenture’s scale in AI delivery and its established ecosystem relationships and industry expertise with Within’s work-to-agent platform to help clients accelerate their path from process discovery to agent deployment and operating model reinvention, with speed and confidence.

Within is built on a private, sovereign architecture, designed to support data privacy and security requirements, making it suitable for regulated industries. In addition to AI transformation, it accelerates ERP and operating model transformation programs, which have traditionally required significant time and resources.
