Alchemy Technology Group Acquires Freeit Data Solutions

Alchemy Technology Group, a cybersecurity advisory, consulting, and reseller firm and a portfolio company of Avance Investment Management, has acquired Freeit Data Solutions, Inc., an Austin-based provider of data management, infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.

The acquisition enhances Alchemy’s presence in Texas and strengthens its capabilities across security and compliance, hybrid cloud, backup and protection, storage and hyperconvergence, virtual desktop infrastructure, data archiving, and consulting services. Freeit’s strong focus on state, local, and education customers adds depth to Alchemy’s ability to serve SLED organizations, while extending its reach across enterprise and midsize commercial businesses.

For more than 16 years, Freeit has helped customers across Texas navigate complex public-sector procurement and channel requirements, including DIR-supported business and key distribution relationships.
