SOC 2 is an auditing framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for evaluating how a service organization manages and protects customer data. In a Type 2 audit, an independent auditor tests not only whether a company’s controls are suitably designed, but also whether they operate effectively over the audit period.

“Customers rely on Atombeam to speed the movement of mission-critical data across their most vital networks and edge devices,” said Charles Yeomans, CEO of Atombeam. “As organizations push to deliver services faster and more efficiently, they need confidence that the security protections behind those workloads are in place and operating effectively. Our SOC 2 Type 2 audit provides independent validation of our longstanding commitment to keep security central to everything we build as we grow.”
Atombeam’s Type 2 report covers the audit period from April 1 through August 31, 2026, evaluating the Security, Availability, and Confidentiality Trust Services Criteria. MJD Advisors assessed the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of Atombeam’s controls throughout that period. This milestone follows Atombeam’s successful completion of a SOC 2 Type 1 audit earlier this year.
