CONSHOHOCKEN ,PA, 15TH MAY 2025— At Boomi World 2025, Boomi™, the global leader in AI-driven automation, unveiled a major platform evolution designed to redefine enterprise integration and automation. Headlining the announcements were the general availability of Boomi Agentstudio, the deployment of 33,000+ AI agents, native support for Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the addition of Boomi Data Integration (formerly Rivery) to its enterprise platform.

Boomi Agentstudio, the industry’s first full agent lifecycle management system, empowers users to build, govern, and deploy AI agents in a secure no-code environment. Now generally available, it allows seamless orchestration across cloud platforms, including integration with Amazon Q Business and AWS. Developers can embed agents directly in the Boomi Process Canvas via a new Agent Step feature.

“Today’s enterprises are overwhelmed by digital fragmentation and data sprawl,”

Said Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO at Boomi.

“The future belongs to organizations that can intelligently connect everything and automate anything — and Boomi is THE platform that makes it happen. With these innovations, we’re empowering our customers to move faster, work smarter, and lead in an AI-first world.”

Among the new AI agents is the Integration Advisor Agent, which offers optimization feedback on integration processes. The API Design Agent autonomously creates OpenAPI specifications tailored to business and technical needs, while the API Documentation Agent instantly generates technical and business-facing documentation.

The Data Connector Agent simplifies the creation of connectors to REST APIs, eliminating the need for third-party tools.

Boomi also confirmed full MCP integration, marking it as one of the first platforms to support this open protocol for intelligent agent orchestration. APIs are now automatically exposed as MCP endpoints, while a new MCP gateway enables seamless tool discovery and secure execution.

Additionally, Boomi Data Integration now brings advanced data pipeline automation, log-based change data capture, and streamlined data ingestion to the platform, enabling faster, more scalable AI data product development.

“As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, they require data platforms that bridge silos, streamline data management, and deliver intelligent automation,”

Said Matt Aslett, director of research at ISG.

“Boomi’s platform approach is well placed for this opportunity — combining integration, automation, API management, and data management with AI-native capabilities to meet the challenges of digitally fragmented enterprises.”

“Boomi is uniquely positioned at the intersection of AI, enterprise data, and business process automation,”

Said Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi.

“As originators of the iPaaS category — and the first integration and automation platform to introduce AI agents with full lifecycle management — Boomi continues to lead the industry forward. With today’s announcements, we’re setting a new standard for AI-driven automation, empowering organizations to move faster, operate smarter, and unlock the full value of their data.”
