CloudBolt Launches No-Cost Edition of Its Cloud Management Platform
The full platform capabilities are now free on a team’s first 100 resources, paired with a redesigned interface that makes CloudBolt CMP easy to onboard and fast to scale
CloudBolt(opens in new tab) Software, a recognized leader in hybrid cloud management and Kubernetes optimization, today announced a no-cost edition of its cloud management platform, CloudBolt CMP, alongside a redesigned user experience. Teams can now run the full platform on up to 100 resources (any cloud object the platform manages including VMs, storage, clusters, databases, and networks) in their own environment, for free. CloudBolt CMP unifies control across public, private, and hybrid clouds, giving teams a single platform with consistent governance, visibility, and cost management wherever workloads run.

Two barriers have slowed enterprise adoption of cloud management platforms. Teams have had to allocate costs before they could validate the platform in their own environment, and the platforms themselves have a reputation for being complex to learn. A 2026 Gartner survey found that 67% of B2B buyers prefer a rep-free buying experience, a sign of how much buyers want to evaluate a product on their own before committing.

A New Interface, the Same Platform Underneath
The redesign of CMP lowers the barrier for teams that are not deep automation experts to quickly get value out of the box. A rebuilt interface modernizes CMP in a more intuitive way, and its natural-language interface, built on the Model Context Protocol that CloudBolt introduced earlier this year, lets people work by describing what they want instead of navigating the platform by hand. For enterprises, it offers a robust governance layer for AI-driven infrastructure work, inside the platform’s existing permissions and controls.
“I’ve spent a decade building CMP for the people who run large hybrid cloud estates. It’s a deep platform, and that depth came with a learning curve; you had to understand a lot of it before you could do much,” said Alexandre “Auggy” da Rocha, co-founder at CloudBolt. “The redesign and the natural-language interface take that requirement away. The permissions, guardrails, and workflows underneath are exactly the same. You just don’t have to know where everything lives to use them.”
