Coats Appoints Naina Bhattacharya as Chief Information Security Officer

In a move that highlights the growing strategic role of cybersecurity in manufacturing-led enterprises, Coats has appointed Naina Bhattacharya as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The appointment, announced in early January 2026, reflects Coats’ focus on strengthening enterprise cybersecurity, governance, and digital resilience across its global operations.

In her role, Naina will lead Coats’ enterprise-wide information security strategy, overseeing cybersecurity governance, risk management, and resilience initiatives. She will work closely with business and technology leaders to embed security into digital transformation programs, manufacturing systems, and global supply chain operations.

Naina brings extensive experience in building and leading global cybersecurity programs across complex and regulated environments. Prior to joining Coats, she served as Global CISO at Danone, where she led large-scale cybersecurity transformation initiatives supporting global modernization and cloud adoption. Her earlier career includes senior cybersecurity leadership roles at EY and Deloitte, advising multinational organizations on cyber risk, compliance, and security architecture.

Known for aligning security strategy with business outcomes, Naina has worked across consumer goods, manufacturing, and professional services sectors. Her background positions her well to address the evolving cyber risks associated with globally distributed operations and increasingly interconnected digital ecosystems.
