Darktrace Announces Ed Jennings as President and CEO
Darktrace has appointed Ed Jennings as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic leadership transition as the company advances its AI-driven cybersecurity capabilities. Jennings officially assumes the role following the departure of former CEO Jill Popelka, ushering in a new phase of leadership for the UK-based cybersecurity firm.
Jennings brings extensive experience in enterprise software and cybersecurity leadership. Prior to joining Darktrace, he served as CEO of Quickbase, where he helped accelerate business growth and expand the company’s market presence. Earlier in his career, Jennings held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Mimecast, playing a key role in scaling global operations and strengthening the company’s enterprise security offerings.
