Globalgig Achieves ISO/IEC 27001 Certification

The certification, audited by BARR Advisory, validates that Globalgig operates a comprehensive information security management system measured against the leading international standard. Certification required evidencing controls across the standard’s organizational, people, physical, and technological themes, all verified by the audit team. Paired with Globalgig’s existing SOC 2 Type II attestation, ISO 27001 certification strengthens the company’s commitment to security and risk management, offering customers assurance validated by both U.S. trust services criteria and an internationally recognized information security standard.
“ISO 27001 certification reflects Globalgig’s ongoing commitment to delivering a secure, high-quality experience to our clients,” said Jeremy McPherson, senior vice president of operations. “ISO 27001 raises the bar, demonstrating that we manage information security to a globally accepted standard across every layer of our managed solutions and throughout our Orchestra management platform. For our customers, that means independent, internationally recognized assurance that their data is protected.”

ISO/IEC 27001 requires an organization to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve its approach to securing information, and to prove the effectiveness of that approach through independent audit. Unlike a point-in-time assessment, certification carries an obligation of ongoing improvement, with surveillance audits confirming that security practices keep pace as threats and technologies evolve.
“Security is foundational to everything we deliver,” said Gina Nomellini, chief operations officer. “From SASE to zero trust, our managed security services are designed to protect our customers’ networks. ISO 27001 reflects how we apply that same rigor internally, ensuring the way we manage and protect information across our own business meets a globally recognized standard.”
