HPE Aruba Unveils Advanced Solutions for Retail Modernization at NRF 2025
New York, January 13, 2025 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba Networking a number of HPE solutions to optimize the shopping experience and increase efficiency for customers. These latest products in HPE’s Aruba Networking range focus on secure connectivity and real-time processing and analysis of IoT data for deriving insights through AI.
The latest product line includes the HPE Aruba Networking 100 Series Cellular bridge, which helps in maintaining uninterrupted WAN access even after occurrences of fiber blackouts. In such a condition, it is particularly useful for temporary setups such as stand-alone kiosks. This product offers rapid staging by totally eliminating cable latency. The compact CX 8325H switch combined with the HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11 server allows edge computing to be incredibly sound while at an incredibly low cost in power and cooling needs.
To enhance wireless performance, HPE has introduced 750 Series wireless access points that securely process real-time IoT data for AI-driven applications. The HPE Aruba AI Central Insights feature optimizes curbside operations by enhancing outdoor Wi-Fi performance and identifies unusual behavior output IoT, providing adequate security for such devices as cameras and sensors. To better integrate third-party technologies like Hanshow’s electronic shelf labels, Simbe autonomous robots, and Zebra Technologies RFID scanners to operations, HPE has opened the IoT Operations Dashboard to its operators. The integration of these solutions is private 5G and Wi-Fi from HPE managed through the HPE GreenLake Cloud, making the network management of these distributed retail locations less complicated.
“The retail industry desperately needs IoC connectivity to modernize business structure and upgrade customer service experiences,” said Stuart Strickland, wireless CTO at HPE Aruba Networking. “Our solutions will bring AI and Internet of Things (IoT) data processing physically closer to the source in support of omnichannel strategies, which will also increase revenues.”
HPE has responded to the limited IT resources that tend to IoT security challenges and builds networks that are robust and scalable. “Retailers now require differentiating networks and connectivity solutions for their digital initiatives,” Strickland explained.
