HPE’s New Security Upgrade Could Make Hackers Obsolete
SAN JOSE, CA, 30TH APRIL,2025-Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched a major overhaul of its cloud-based security infrastructure, introducing expansive zero trust networking and private cloud solutions aimed at large-scale enterprises. The move is seen as a strategic pivot to address growing cybersecurity threats and data sovereignty concerns across global markets.
Announced during its 2025 Security Summit, HPE’s new architecture supports full zero trust implementation across edge, cloud, and data center environments. According to the company, the framework is built to prevent lateral movement of threats and secure workloads at every layer of the IT stack.
“We are solving for the new digital edge. Businesses need security embedded into every part of their infrastructure,”
said Vishal Lall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of HPE’s GreenLake Cloud Platform. He emphasized that the expanded solutions align with regulatory compliance and performance at scale.
HPE’s approach leverages its GreenLake platform, integrating zero trust policies by default into workloads and identity-based access controls across all cloud-native operations.
This is a response to the increasing shift toward hybrid cloud environments and the rising complexity in managing security postures across distributed systems.
“Customers are demanding secure-by-design platforms, and this launch makes that real,”
Said Phil Mottram, Executive Vice President and General Manager of HPE’s Intelligent Edge. The new services will also cater to industries with strict governance requirements such as healthcare, government, and finance.
The announcement follows recent high-profile cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure, adding urgency to enterprise-level security transformations. HPE confirmed that several Fortune 500 clients have already begun pilot deployments of the zero trust solution suite.
