SuperApp, Inc.(opens in new tab), formerly Instabase, Inc., today launched SuperApp(opens in new tab), the AI collaboration super app, available on the web (opens in new tab), iOS (opens in new tab), Android (opens in new tab), and desktop (opens in new tab). SuperApp brings teams and leading AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and others into one live thread — from the first conversation to finished work. The company changed its name to reflect the new product and company direction.

Work today is split into three. Teams talk in one app. They ask AI in another. They make the final work somewhere else. Every handoff asks people to remember what the software forgot.

SuperApp(opens in new tab) brings those moments together. People and AI begin in the same live thread. Teams can use Claude from Anthropic, GPT from OpenAI, Gemini from Google, grok from xAI, and other leading models, then turn the conversation into a document, presentation, spreadsheet, or interactive app — without losing the people, sources, decisions, feedback, or context that made the work possible.

Put simply: think of the communication of Slack, the intelligence of leading AI models, and the collaborative creation of Google Docs — all in one super app.

“The prompt box was a breakthrough. It made AI personal. SuperApp makes it collaborative. Work is multiplayer. AI should be too,” said Anant Bhardwaj, founder and CEO of SuperApp.

The conversation becomes the workspace.

SuperApp was not built by adding collaboration to a private chatbot. It was built around a different idea: the conversation should not end when the work begins. The conversation should become the work.

One product. Three superpowers.

Conversation. People and AI share the same live thread, so ideas, questions, sources, feedback, and decisions develop in the open instead of disappearing into separate private chats.

Intelligence. Use the best model for every step. People choose, pin, or compare models, and SuperApp automatically routes work across providers — without moving the work or rebuilding its context.

Productivity. Teams create, review, revise, and approve finished documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and interactive apps where the thinking happened.

Across all three, messages, source files, model contributions, tool calls, results, revisions, and approvals stay connected in a durable record, so teams can trace how the work was made and confirm which version was approved.

The work — not the answer — is the product.

An answer can be useful. A finished piece of work can change a company. SuperApp is built for the whole arc: the first question, the evidence, the debate, the revision, the decision, and the final deliverable.

“The answers are genuinely thoughtful and rigorous — not fluffy. I organize my work in channels, carry history forward, and collaborate with my team on documents without losing the thread. So much of what I need is finally in one place,” said Sampriti Bhattacharyya, founder and CEO of Navier, a deep tech company building for maritime defense and transportation.

SuperApp, Inc. has moved its own workforce entirely off Slack, migrated more than 20 million historical messages while preserving direct messages, channels, users, and conversation history. In pre-release, SuperApp had more than 1,000 weekly active users, roughly 90% of them outside the company.

Built for choice, control, and trust.

AI is moving too quickly for any organization to place its future inside one model, one vendor, or one cloud.

For business and enterprise buyers, SuperApp is multi-provider and provider-neutral by design. Organizations can change models without losing their conversations or work; keep conversations, files, artifacts, and AI activity owned, governed, queryable, and exportable rather than trapped as hidden memory inside a model vendor; and use managed service or dedicated enterprise deployments as their needs evolve.

Every request, model contribution, source, tool call, result, revision, and approval becomes part of a durable decision ledger owned and governed by the organization. Consequential or irreversible actions remain human decisions, and those approvals become part of the record. Trust should not require faith. It should leave a trail people own.

Why Instabase became SuperApp.

Instabase spent years building enterprise AI for large and regulated organizations. In 2025, the company began moving toward collaborative AI. That work revealed a larger opportunity: AI should not remain a private assistant; it should become a shared place where people and intelligence create together.

SuperApp is a new product and a new company direction — not a new name for Instabase’s earlier enterprise platform. It carries forward years of enterprise-grade experience in reliability, control, and trust on an entirely new foundation for collaborative work.
