ARMONK, NEY YORK 16TH APRIL 2025-As a part of the major AI infrastructure race step, Intel and IBM have announced the availability of Intel’s Gaudi 3 AI Accelerators on the IBM Cloud.

Enterprises will get more efficient large-scale AI training and inference with the new integration. The new integration is said to enhance the vast amount of tasks enterprises can perform using AI.

The new release allows customers to utilize Gaudi 3 powered infrastructure from IBM’s Virtual Private Cloud, Red Hat OpenShift and Watsonx stack.

The money and effort put in to training large language models and generative AI workloads will be drastically reduced with this stack combination.

Leading edge AI compute will now be easier for enterprises to use which is with low budget because of this launch, said IBM Cloud Platform Services CTO Guru Banavar.

The performance of Gaudi 3, Intel’s brainchild, will now be available to more users given the intergration of cloud environment and Gaudi 3 performance.

According to Intel, Gaudi 3 accelerators deliver much more performance than competing GPUs. IBM will start launching them for early access in the upcoming months via Cloud Catalog and Watsonx.

Gadi Singer, Intel’s Vice President said this is about making high-performance AI infrastructure easy to access.

Every business willing to scale AI in a responsible, low budget way will get the chance due to Gaudi 3 on IBM Cloud, as per Gadi Singer.

This step will help companies considering generative AI as a new domain to switch to IBM Cloud, making the company the non-dominant solution provider cloud for businesses looking at new AI features.

This follows other technology companies who started investing heavily into AI technology and establishing the infrastructure to support it.
