INDIA, 7th,APRIL,2025 – Kyndryl has partnered up with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories to enhance and automate the pharmaceutical major’s IT operations across all sites.

Under this project, Kyndryl’s AI-powered digital business platform, Kyndryl Bridge, would introduce predictive monitoring, failure prevention, and automated remediations across data centers, manufacturing plants, and cloud environments.

They would operate under a Zero Touch IT Operations model, which will drastically reduce manual involvement in operations by about 60% and instead will rely on intelligent automation to manage operations from start to finish.

This model incorporates Kyndryl’s Dual Model IT Ops framework, which focuses on root cause resolution instead of reactive fixes for problems.

Real-time analytics and IT performance visibility for service delivery, compliance tracking, and risk management are brought by Kyndryl Bridge through a single-pane dashboard. This transformation also enhances Dr. Reddy’s focus on digital governance and operational agility.

Lingraju Sawkar, President of Kyndryl India, said,

“Kyndryl brings an unmatched global expertise in managing critical IT systems and creating business value to India’s pharma and healthcare industry. Our advanced technology and expertise will support Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ digital transformation journey by optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing regulatory compliance, agility and end-user experience. By leveraging the expansive predictive capabilities of Kyndryl Bridge, we can identify issues and solve them to support Dr. Reddy’s commitment to leverage technology to provide patients with access to innovative and affordable medicines.”

The move assumes a more significant role in the changing landscape of digital health by aligning efforts with advancing government policy, whereby the creation of a shared service capability would provide better oversight of meaningful uses of technology.

The deployment is thus representative of a shift in the overall wider transformation strategy on pharma IT toward AI-driven automation and intelligent end-to-end visibility.
