LG Installs 1,700 sqm of LED Signage at Roig Arena
LG Electronics is installing huge LED screens at the new Roig Arena in Valencia, Spain, that will be January, 2024. The Roig Arena will be opening this September and will be the largest indoor stadium in Spain and the new facility will be the home of the Valencia Basket Club.
LG will install 1,700 square meters of screens inside and outside the facility, the most recognizable part of the installation will be an enormous eye-shaped screen called “The Eye”. In addition to The Eye LG will install a main scoreboard, a super-wide screen, another screen behind the stage and a ribbon-like screen that will wrap around the inside of the venue so fans can get an unparalleled experience of an event.
LG already has screens in 200 countries around the world and is particularly well known in Europe and the U.S. LG displays offer bright, clear pictures and content easily managed and displayed, which helps not only stadiums promote and sell more, but also helps to improve the connection and experience for the fans at their events.
Spain’s premier football clubs including Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad, in addition to LG’s screens, have experience using the displays at an international level. LG’s screens are featured throughout stadiums in Europe and the U.S. including well-known stadiums like Wembley in London, Etihad in Manchester/Arsenal’s and Fenway Park in Boston.
A research company says the LED screen market will grow big by 2029, and LG wants to stay ahead by offering smart, full-service display solutions.
An LG executive said they’re focused on making live events better with top-quality displays and helpful tools for businesses.
