Sodani brings more than 20 years of experience scaling high-performing engineering organizations and leading technology transformation at enterprise scale. He most recently served as chief technology officer at Salesloft, where he led the company’s AI strategy and delivered improvements in development velocity, code quality, and architectural rigor. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Oracle, Yahoo, and Datalogix.

“Saurabh is an exceptional product and engineering leader,” said Todd Olson, CEO and co-founder of Pendo. “His background in distributed systems, AI, and organizational scale will help accelerate how we deliver innovation to our customers.”

As chief development officer, Sodani will build on Pendo’s strong engineering foundation to further accelerate its AI strategy and continue to scale innovation. He will champion a mission-driven team structure and promote flexible, pluggable architectures that make it easy to adopt emerging AI protocols without disrupting core systems.

“Pendo has built a uniquely strong foundation for AI,” said Sodani. “The instrumentation is already in place to measure software usage across any application—SaaS, AI or agentic. Now it’s about turning data into action through agents, automation, and software experiences that drive business impact for our customers.”
