Well-known in the Internet of Things (IoT) universe, Queclink has recently announced the launch of a new product called the GL52RP. This compact and powerful tracker acts as a monitor for businesses, specifically for those interested in tracking valuable assets in places such as stolen vehicle recovery, along with businesses and financial services. Queclink’s latest gadget is unique because it utilizes LoRaWAN technology to send information over long distances using minimal energy.

LoRaWAN is being used more frequently in logistics and security industries because it allows for better range and battery life than traditional cellular trackers. Many nations are building LoRaWAN infrastructure today and Queclink’s new device is coming at the right time. The GL52RP is additionally useful in countries like Brazil, which require strong anti-jamming capabilities due to local laws. Finding a tracker that still operates in weak signal areas is valuable as many IoT devices will fail in these environments.

The GL52RP’s small size also allows businesses to hide it on bikes, cars, or other moving items – good for theft management or recovering stolen asset.

Marcelo Orsi, Queclink’s sales director, stated that many customers based in Latin America are requesting tracking solutions like this device, and Queclink constructed the GL52RP for those needs.

In addition to its impressive connectivity features, the tracker also has some other smart features. The GL52RP has a high-sensitivity location tracker (GNSS) and motion sensor by way of reporting movement and the exact location. This tracker also has the ability to last several years before a battery change is needed, due to its intelligent power-saving system. Users also have the flexibility of having the device function as they choose, whenever it may be – running fully on-time, or checking in at a desired interval, or sleeping until needed.

This launch demonstrates Queclink’s strong intentions of bringing innovative, practical solutions to market. The GL52RP, has already been approved in many places world-wide, including Brazil, and will work seamlessly in Latin America, as well as Europe and North America.

The formal announcement will occur at the Exposec event in São Paulo, Brazil. It is also planned for upcoming technology expositions in the U.S. and Europe. Available at Booth D11, attendees can learn about how this small machine is solving larger problems, from an asset-tracking perspective.
