Tencent Cloud Expands AI Agent Solutions to Indonesia, Helping Enterprises Scale AI Adoption

Tencent Cloud, the cloud division of global technology company Tencent, has expanded its portfolio of AI agent solutions to Indonesia. The announcement was made during the AI Executive Day summit in Jakarta, which brought together more than 150 enterprise leaders, technology executives, and partners to explore practical AI applications in business operations.

The event focused on how AI agents can support real-world workflows across workplace productivity, creative content development, enterprise automation, and AI model access.

Driving Real-World AI Adoption in Indonesia

Indonesia is rapidly embracing AI technologies. Recent industry research shows that 57% of enterprises consider AI their top business priority for the coming year, while 66% plan to increase investments in agentic AI.

To support this growing demand, Tencent Cloud introduced a suite of AI agent solutions designed to automate business processes and move organizations beyond basic chatbots and content generation tools. These solutions enable AI agents to plan, execute, and automate complex multi-step tasks.

A key highlight was Tencent WorkBuddy, an AI-powered workplace productivity platform that transforms a single user instruction into a complete deliverable. The solution helps professionals perform tasks such as market research, data analysis, and report creation by leveraging specialized AI “Experts” across areas including finance, legal, and marketing. WorkBuddy also supports integration with preferred large language models through APIs and allows remote workflow management through Discord, Slack, and Telegram. Since its launch in China, the platform has attracted more than 8.85 million monthly active users within its first month.

Tencent Cloud also introduced Tencent Design Miora, an AI-native creative studio that helps designers, marketers, and content creators maintain brand consistency. Using a single natural-language prompt, Miora coordinates multiple AI capabilities to generate production-ready assets, including graphics, videos, 3D content, and user interface designs, significantly reducing creative production timelines.

To address rising AI infrastructure demands, Tencent Cloud showcased TokenHub, its Model-as-a-Service platform. TokenHub provides centralized access to leading large language models through API gateways, enabling enterprises to manage multiple models efficiently while optimizing costs and performance through flexible token allocation.

One of the summit’s featured discussions highlighted Tencent Cloud’s collaboration with XLSMART. During a panel session, Yessie D. Yosetya, Director and Chief Information Technology Officer of XLSMART, joined Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud and Head of Tencent Cloud International, to discuss the company’s large-scale cloud transformation journey.

Tencent Cloud helped XLSMART modernize its operations using Tencent Cloud infrastructure while ensuring uninterrupted services for millions of customers. The project also leveraged AI technologies to automate repetitive engineering tasks and improve overall operational efficiency.
