Teradata Launches Enterprise Data Analyst AI Agent on Google Cloud Marketplace
Teradata has officially announced the availability of its enterprise-grade Data Analyst AI agent on Google Cloud Marketplace, giving organizations a faster and more seamless way to bring advanced analytics and agentic AI capabilities directly into their cloud environments.
With this launch, businesses can now deploy the Teradata Data Analyst Agent straight within Google Cloud, which significantly reduces the need for expensive and time-consuming data movement. As a result, enterprises can accelerate their AI-driven decision-making processes while gaining faster access to actionable insights.

Moreover, this new offering is designed as a foundational step toward future multi-agent use cases. Instead of forcing companies to shift large volumes of data across platforms, Teradata enables analytics to happen exactly where the data already resides. This approach not only improves efficiency but also strengthens security and compliance.
The Teradata Data Analyst Agent is built on the Teradata Enterprise MCP (Model Context Protocol) and leverages Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK). Because of this integration, the agent delivers multi-turn conversational analytics, real-time insights, and secure pushdown processing all while keeping sensitive enterprise data in place.
In addition, the agent can orchestrate complex SQL queries on Teradata Vantage and perform iterative statistical analysis using Python within Google Cloud. It intelligently interprets user actions, adapts to existing data models, and maintains conversational context. Therefore, organizations can explore data progressively and gain deeper insights without requiring specialized expertise or moving data outside the environment.
Teradata also highlighted several key benefits of making its AI agents available through Google Cloud Marketplace. These include seamless integration with Teradata Vantage and Google Cloud services, enterprise-grade governance for compliance at scale, and faster time-to-value through prebuilt workflows. Furthermore, companies can reduce upfront investment and lower total cost of ownership while still customizing AI services to fit their unique operational needs.
