PALO ALTO, CA 24TH APRIL 2025-Tuya Smart has unveiled four core AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) technology engines aimed at transforming the interaction between humans and the physical world through AI.

The announcement marks a strategic push to empower global developers to reimagine smart applications in homes, businesses, and industry.

The four engines—Perception and Cognition, Natural Human-Computer Interaction, Intelligent Decision-Making, and Edge Computing—are designed to drive real-time intelligence and personalized services across devices.

Tuya claims these engines offer developers access to AI capabilities once only possible in large-scale cloud environments.

“These engines mark a major step forward in democratizing AIoT innovation,”

Said Eva Na, Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Cooperation at Tuya Smart.

“Our platform allows developers to rebuild the physical world with intelligent technology that adapts to people’s lives.”

The launch also reflects a growing trend among AI companies to blend cloud and edge computing, providing lower latency, higher efficiency, and improved privacy.

Analysts say the move could reshape smart industry standards and spur AI adoption across energy, security, and home automation sectors.

“Developers no longer have to choose between performance and scalability,”

said Jeff Hu, CTO of Tuya Smart. “This is about delivering intelligence where and when it matters.”

The announcement comes as Tuya expands its global footprint, aiming to serve over 700,000 developers worldwide.

While deployment timelines vary by industry, early adopters are expected to begin implementation in the second half of 2025.

Tuya has not disclosed pricing but emphasized accessibility and openness as central themes. The company will host a developer summit next month to showcase real-world use cases.
