As cyber threats increase in volume and sophistication, organizations are looking to apply AI to security operations practically without adding complexity or risk. To address these challenges, Unisys offers clients ways to operationalize Microsoft Security Copilot with a structured approach to adoption, governance and integration. This approach enables AI agents to automate routine security tasks, allowing security teams to focus on higher-value investigation and response activities.
“Organizations are eager to realize the benefits of AI in their security operations, but success requires more than simply deploying new technology,” said Philip Swarbrick, vice president of cybersecurity solutions at Unisys. “Effective cybersecurity relies on the right combination of technology, processes and expertise. By combining Microsoft Security Copilot with our managed security expertise, we help organizations strengthen security operations, improve visibility and respond to evolving threats with greater speed and confidence.”
Delivered through the company’s global security operations center, the Unisys MDR solution combines Microsoft security technologies with Unisys managed security expertise to accelerate threat detection, investigation and response.
Security Copilot works alongside Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel to provide centralized visibility across security environments, while AI-powered agents automate tasks such as phishing triage, threat intelligence analysis and aspects of incident investigation and response.
Additional benefits of the enhanced MDR solution include:
- Strengthened incident response through AI-powered alert triage and threat enrichment.
- Reduced context-switching by bringing Defender, Sentinel and Security Copilot into a unified operational workflow.
- Improved visibility across endpoints, identities, cloud workloads and networks to support faster threat detection and coordinated response.
- Automated evaluation and suppression of low-risk incidents when confidence thresholds are met, helping reduce alert fatigue and enabling analysts to focus on higher-priority threats while maintaining a complete audit trail.
