As part of the initiative, Black Duck will apply Mythos across its full application security portfolio, combining AI-accelerated deterministic vulnerability discovery with trusted remediation workflows, risk-based prioritization, and compliance-driven governance. Together, these capabilities create a blended security strategy that produces a measurable reduction in risk with greater speed and confidence.

“AI is transforming the economics and speed of vulnerability discovery and exploit development,” said Dipto Chakravarty, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Black Duck. “Pairing the advanced capabilities of Mythos with Black Duck’s deterministic testing, remediation workflows, and governance controls turns vulnerability discovery into measurable risk reduction with the speed, transparency, and auditability that enterprise security teams need.”

Black Duck meets the board-level risks of modern software with a hybrid approach to application security: deterministic analysis proves what’s true, and LLM reasoning decides what matters and fixes it fast. That combination frees organizations from tradeoffs between velocity, security, and compliance. As AI transforms how software is built, Black Duck secures code written by developers, generated by AI, and assembled from open source. From the cloud to on premises, Black Duck secures mission-critical software everywhere code happens, so security leaders can make smarter decisions and unleash business innovation with confidence
