Cohesity Expands Leadership Bench with Appointment of Julien Mousqueton as CITO

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security and cyber resilience, has announced the appointment of Julien Mousqueton as Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Europe, effective immediately. The move strengthens Cohesity’s regional leadership and underscores the company’s commitment to advancing cyber resilience strategies across critical European markets.

In his new role, Julien will be responsible for driving Cohesity’s cybersecurity engagement and operational strategy across Europe, helping enterprises enhance their data protection and cyber resilience posture in an increasingly complex threat environment. His appointment is a continuation of Cohesity’s broader leadership expansion across Europe.

Julien brings more than 25 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and operational resilience. Prior to joining Cohesity, he served at Computacenter France for over a decade, most recently as Chief Technology Officer, where he led technology strategy, secure infrastructure initiatives, and innovation programs. His career includes technology leadership roles at Groupe AGRICA, CPAM de Paris (France’s state social security office), and global bank Natexis, giving him a broad foundation in complex enterprise environments.

In addition to his industry experience, Julien serves as a reservist advisor for the Office Anti-Cybercriminalité (OFAC) within the French National Police, a specialist unit focused on investigating cybercrime. He is also the creator of ransomware.live, a real-time global ransomware tracking platform used by security professionals to stay informed about emerging threats.
