“Evolv’s momentum, as demonstrated in our second quarter earnings report, reflects a simple reality: organizations are looking for security solutions that enhance public safety without compromising the experience,” said John Kedzierski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolv Technology. “We continue to see strong adoption from both new and existing customers as they increasingly view Evolv as a strategic security platform capable of addressing multiple screening needs across their facilities.”
Expanding Reach Across North America
Evolv now serves customers in all 50 U.S. states, as well as across Canada and Mexico, demonstrating the broad applicability of its technology across industries, geographies, and use cases.
Today, Evolv Express screens nearly 5 million people each day, underscoring the growing scale and reach of the company’s security systems.
During the second quarter of 2026, Evolv added 70 new customers, representing its strongest quarter for new customer additions in two years. Examples of new customers include the new Ryan Field at Northwestern University, pro soccer team Philadelphia Union, and The University of Washington. During the second quarter of 2026, approximately 60% of unit bookings came from existing customers, highlighting the Company’s ability to both attract new organizations and deepen relationships with its installed base.
Evolv eXpedite™ Gains Momentum as a Security Ecosystem Extension
Evolv’s autonomous AI-powered bag screening solution, eXpedite, continues to gain traction among customers seeking to improve security screening while maintaining efficient entry flows.
Organizations are increasingly looking to integrate bag screening into a unified security workflow, and eXpedite is designed to work alongside Evolv’s broader screening ecosystem.
The Company now has more than 100 eXpedite customers, representing approximately 8% of its customer base, up from approximately 2% one year ago.
Notably, approximately 70% of new customers who purchased eXpedite during the second quarter of 2026 also purchased Evolv Express®, the Company’s people screener, demonstrating the complementary nature of Evolv’s solutions and the growing appeal of a unified platform approach.

Since launching at the end of 2024, customers have screened more than 20 million bags using eXpedite and now process approximately 90,000 bags per day through the platform.
Building a Security Infrastructure for the Future
As customer adoption continues to expand across education, healthcare, venues, entertainment, and enterprise environments, Evolv believes AI weapons detection is one of the fastest growing markets in public safety and the market opportunity increasingly extends beyond standalone screening products.
Organizations are seeking integrated approaches that help manage multiple security workflows while preserving visitor throughput and experience. The Company’s expanding product portfolio, growing installed base, and increasing cross-sell activity position Evolv to support those evolving requirements.
“Our results reflect the power of an integrated strategy,” said Kedzierski. “Whether customers begin with people screening, bag screening, or both, we’re increasingly becoming a trusted long-term partner in helping them create safer experiences at scale.”
