“Our service provider ecosystem is an important route for organizations to benefit from Nutanix technologies. Nutanix SP Central enables multitenancy that further lowers the barrier for far more of them,” said Inder Sidhu, Chief Customer Experience and Partner Officer, Nutanix. “Expedient has been one of our key service provider design partners in the Nutanix SP Central development journey. We are excited to partner with Expedient to deliver a unified platform powered by Nutanix, spanning multitenant and dedicated cloud environments, edge computing, disaster recovery, and AI.”

Moving to a modern cloud has often meant procuring dedicated hardware, committing capital and building platform expertise first. Multitenant services from Expedient removes those barriers. Each client gets a securely isolated environment on Nutanix infrastructure in Expedient data centers, while Expedient runs the platform with 24/7/365 U.S.-based support. Because every deployment runs on AHV, the Nutanix hypervisor, workloads can be moved across on-premises, dedicated and multi-tenant environments with no conversion.

“Organizations are taking control of their infrastructure, placing every workload where it runs best for cost, performance and governance, and that now includes AI,” said Bryan Smith, CEO of Expedient. “Nutanix builds the platform and we operationalize it, so customers can optimize their infrastructure across multitenant, dedicated and edge cloud with one partner accountable for all of it. Our relationship with Nutanix runs from their engineering teams to their executive team, and multitenant is the latest example of what we build together for customers.”

The Nutanix platform is also the on-ramp to AI. It runs AI and containerized applications alongside traditional virtual machines, enabling organizations to move AI from pilot to production on the same foundation that runs their workloads. With the Expedient AI CTRL Platform, AI is delivered as a governed, cost-predictable managed service with integrated security and data-sovereignty controls, with no separate AI environment to build or manage. Clients can add Expedient DRaaS, Expedient Backup and Expedient Colocation from the same partner, across 14 U.S. data centers. Expedient has earned the Powered by Nutanix: Verified Solutions qualification for its Dedicated Private Cloud, Multitenant Private Cloud and Disaster Recovery as a Service offerings.
