Fujitsu Launches Secure Generative AI Platform for Enterprises
KAWASAKI, JAPAN, 13th February 2025 – Fujitsu Limited announced today the launch of its Fujitsu Cloud Service Generative AI Platform for security and flexible enterprise data management. This service is set to commence in Japan in the fiscal year 2025, with plans to roll it out globally. Applications for trial in Japan commence today.
Fujitsu’s new platform integrates the private AI platform on PRIMERGY from Fsas Technologies, Supermicro’s GPU servers, and Fujitsu’s Takane large language modeling (LLM) to address the needs outlined above. This architecture ensures client data stays in a private cloud area in Fujitsu’s data center, thus allowing confidential information to be securely processed without compromising on security.
The service provides shared GPU servers for inference and training, while privating the data in an area so as to reduce costs. Compared to building a dedicated generative AI environment, this pooled, standardized infrastructure saves significantly on the costs of deploying an initial system.
Fujitsu will gradually add LLMs by other companies to satisfy customers’ needs. Besides, this service will be included in Fujitsu’s Computing as a Service (CaaS) portfolio, providing complete support from initial implementation to ongoing optimization. Thus, companies can ensure the greatest efficiency and productivity improvements from generative AI and reap transformational benefits to their business.
Fujitsu wants to ensure that adopting AI solutions is as easy as possible for industries with strict data confidentiality by creating a secure, flexible generative AI platform. Additional details and updates will be provided as the offering moves towards commercialization.
