Today, Kyndryl announced retirements after successful careers, as well as leadership rotations and new appointments

Kyndryl today announced a series of leadership transitions and appointments across human resources, strategy, global practices, and regional operations, reinforcing the company’s focus on growth, innovation, and talent development.

Human Resources Leadership

Maryjo Charbonnier, Kyndryl’s Chief Human Resources Officer, has decided to retire after playing a pivotal role in establishing Kyndryl as an employer of choice. Charbonnier has been instrumental in advancing The Kyndryl Way, creating a differentiated talent journey for Kyndryls, fostering belonging and well-being through the launch of Kinship @ Kyndryl, and modernizing people systems to support continuous upskilling in the AI era. Her leadership helped deliver world-class skills to customers and earned Kyndryl more than 100 workplace awards. Charbonnier will remain in her role through March 31 and continue as an Executive Advisor through the end of August.

Mark Paulek will succeed Charbonnier as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1. Since joining Kyndryl in 2022, Paulek has played a key role in shaping the company’s human capital strategy and supporting its ambition to become an employer of choice. He brings extensive global experience across high-growth technology organizations and has been instrumental in transforming Kyndryl’s Group President organization across countries, practices, Kyndryl Consult, and delivery.

Doug Johnson will succeed Paulek as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, partnering with the Group President organization. Johnson brings deep global HR leadership experience from technology companies, most recently serving as SVP of Human Resources at Sabre Corporation, where he led global HR business partners and corporate HR functions including talent, rewards, and HR systems.

Strategy Leadership

Leigh Price, Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, has announced his retirement effective July 1. Price has played a critical role in shaping Kyndryl’s strategy, merger and acquisition processes, and the company’s 3A’s strategy, while advising leadership as a member of the Kyndryl Strategy Board.

Kris Lovejoy has been named Global Head of Strategy, effective immediately. Lovejoy previously led Kyndryl’s Security and Resiliency Practice from the company’s inception and serves on the Strategy Board. An internationally recognized expert in AI, cybersecurity, and resiliency, she will lead Kyndryl’s integrated strategy and operational plan while continuing her prominent thought leadership role.

Global Practices, Corporate Development, and Administration

Harsh Chugh has assumed an expanded role as Global Head of Practices, Corporate Development, and Administration. He will lead Global Practices effective immediately and Corporate Development beginning May 1, while continuing in his role as Chief Operating Officer. Chugh will integrate practices and corporate development to support future growth, maintaining a flat structure and leveraging combined value for customers.

Farhaz Thobani has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer, effective immediately, with responsibility for operations, real estate, quote-to-cash, and procurement. Previously President of Kyndryl Canada, Thobani strengthened customer relationships, elevated the company’s brand, and built a strong foundation for growth in the region.

Paul Savill has been named Global Practice Leader, Cyber Security and Resiliency, Network and Edge, a newly combined practice reflecting how customers consume network and security services. Savill previously led the Network and Edge Practice and will now bring together both teams to deliver unified capabilities to customers.

Ivan Dopplé has decided to retire following a distinguished career at Kyndryl. He led operations during Kyndryl’s transition to independence and later headed the Digital Workplace Services Global Practice, establishing strong market leadership. Dopplé will remain with the company until July to support the transition and growth initiatives.

Michael Przytula will join Kyndryl on January 19 as Global Practice Leader, Digital Workplace. He brings nearly 30 years of experience delivering Digital Workplace and Service Desk services at Accenture, Dell, and HP, with a global perspective shaped by work across Australia, Asia, and the United States.

Canada Leadership

Brian Medeiros has been appointed President of Kyndryl Canada. Most recently, as Managing Partner for Scotiabank, Medeiros strengthened the client relationship and positioned Kyndryl as a trusted partner through delivery excellence and innovation.

Accelerating Growth

Mike McDaniel will join Kyndryl as Senior Advisor on February 16. McDaniel brings extensive leadership experience from Accenture, DXC, and Conduent, and will focus on driving revenue growth initiatives, expanding customer reach, and supporting key account pursuits.
