Quorum Cyber has appointed John Bruce as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), reinforcing its focus on scalable, intelligence-led security as the company continues to grow its global footprint.
In this role, John will oversee Quorum Cyber’s internal security posture while contributing to client-facing advisory initiatives. His responsibilities include strengthening governance frameworks, managing enterprise risk, and ensuring that security strategy remains closely aligned with business priorities as the organization expands internationally.

John brings more than 25 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, IT operations, and enterprise risk management. His background includes senior roles at Places for People, CGI, IBM, and Lloyds Banking Group, where he led security programs across complex, highly regulated environments and supported large-scale transformation initiatives.
Speaking on his appointment, John underscored the importance of practical, outcome-driven security programs that enable growth rather than restrict it. He emphasized the need for security leaders to balance resilience, risk, and operational agility as threat landscapes continue to evolve.
